1. Yep. Quadrupled his former count.
Could do it again in CA alone. Maybe more. Congratulations.

3. From the Star Bull
"“I wanted to support Kucinich, because he was best on the issues, but he didn’t have a
chance,” Wilson said."

Of course, he came in second, and if all those who say he's "best" but don't vote for him would vote for him... he'd be in first place.

8. I really don't understand that either.
This is the primary season, afterall. One should vote for the person that one think's is best on issues and best on leadership.

OTOH, maybe people really did vote that way.

4. Ooooh, almost in double digits too!

And, having gotten them in Maine and Hawai'i, he has become truly a fringe candidate!

:D

6. watching abc news..
they mention kerry winning all three states, and in each of the three contests they mentioned kerry and edwards total. Not a word about Kucinich coming in second in Hawaii.

7. We need to call and e-mail every media outlet and demand
they tell the truth.

If we let them get away with this we have no one but ourselves to blame.

I'm making calls, starting now, how about you?

C-Span, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, IMUS, and all the rest. We can't let this go, not now. Everyone, man your phones, your faxes, your contacts. GO!!!!

just said that Kucinich got 26% of the vote and came in 2nd in Hawaii. WOW. I wonder if this might encourage others to vote their issues in next week's primaries. Hope so.

ON EDIT--There's more chance that Kucinich will get more votes IF this news is reported. So I agree that we need to let the media know how we feel about their failure to get this news out.

(Of course, even on DU, there's amost no room for anything else with all the attention being given to Gibson's movie and the marriage amendment--and this latter is certainly MEANT to distract us from all sorts of other news. For the record, I'm against an amendment, but I don't think *Bush really cares about pushing it (except as a political ploy). Delay has already come out saying it will be hard to pass. But *Bush gets credit for taking his position, it works as a wedge issue, and it distracts--a "3-fer." UGH.)
