I try to donate to them once a year. There are charities that tend to deluge you with mailings (some of them very slick and glossy) but these folks aren't like that. What you get is a simple photocopied flyer, and charity receipt with thank-you appended. They are involved in very worthy efforts, as the people above have pointed out. If you like a sincere, dignified organization that has a lot of "street cred" and isn't ostentatious -- consider supporting Peaceful Tomorrows, because they don't have much in the way of financial aid to fall back on, and they evidently appreciate even small donations.

Their Valentine's Day message to Mr. Bush. How could anyone not be moved?
