How many others are going to miss Biden in the debates?
He was my second choice behind Barack and I am really hoping for an Obama/Biden ticket.

With him dropping out, I am going to miss him in the debates - particularly his sense of humor.

2. I will
I just told my mother yesterday that if Biden was still in the race next month that I would vote for him in the California Primary. Oh well. Guess I'll be voting for Obama now.

4. I will for sure
I've always thought that a Biden vs. Guiliani race would offer the most entertainment value. Biden would kick his ass, too.

5. Biden won't take VP. He's back in the Senate, and that's good for lawmaking. NT

7. Joe was the only candidate who was honest and non political.
When he answered the questions, he spoke the truth and always had the great answers. I'm very, very sorry to see him out of the race.

8. He and Dodd are the only one who understand foreign policy
Clinton and Richardson some, too.

The recent events in Pakistan, even before Bhutto's murder, the upheaval in Kenya, the yet to happen clash between Kosovo and Serbia will show how inexperienced Obama is and it will be too late to wish for Biden or Dodd.

9. I will.
He's witty and funny. He always adds laughter and substance to every debate. His voice will be missed in that venue.

11. Yes, I'm not too happy about it
I think it's pretty strange for a serious candidate to drop out so quickly. You would think he would have at least waited until NH, seeing as that's right in his back yard too. It's too bad.

Me! He added a lot to the debates, and the conversation. Smart, smart man, and no one has his grasp of foreign policy.

14. He keeps the other candidates honest
when they go too far in pandering with empty promises. I'll miss that. I hope he has a place in the next administration.

17. If we lived in a better country
I think Biden would have been one of the front-runners. He was never my first choice or even my second, but I appreciate his contribution and I sincerely wish him all the best as he continues to fight for progressive values in the Senate.

19. I'll miss Biden's grasp of the FP issues
he always had a great way of framing things.

So long Joe! At least you are still in the Senate. Godspeed.

20. It's So Sad...
that someone so respected and admired won't be going to the big dance. There is something terribly wrong when a man of this caliber can't move on in the race. Very sad, indeed.

22. True Steely,
and its the media; they're killing us. So I've thought that Edwards would never get anywhere; if he has enough face time to get elected, he'll fail dismally with his attempts to govern; they won't let him.

21. I have really gained tremendous respect for Biden....
It is undoubtedly not fair, that someone with his talent and experience becomes an "also ran." But, following the worst pResident of US history--someone who had NO qualifications beyond name for the job--that is, indeed the case.

Joe, we will miss you, but are glad we get to keep you in the all-important Senate.

28. Biden was an ass-kicker in the debates! Especially
in the areas of foreign policy...too bad the others didn't see the need for that powerful, plain-spoken delivery I personally found so impactive.

30. Me too!
I am somewhat consoled by the fact that he is still my Senator;and all of yours too,,actually.
He and his family are one in a million and they will be fine just as they were before all this began. We as Delawareans(most of us) are very proud of Joe and the campaign he ran. He kept them honest in the debates and wouldn't let them get away with much. He spoke truth to power and I know he will continue to do this as Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.
I probably won't watch the debates now, everybody will just be speaking in their little sound bites and there will be nothing to learn from them.

"God Love ya,Joe,"keep on giving them HELL!:toast: :patriot:
