Just imagine all the down ticket races that he will help win cause of all the new voters he will attract to the polls, particularly the young and African-Americans!! I could potentially see a tsunami of Democrats getting swept into office from state races all the way to Congress. Howard Dean has to be salivating over this prospect. Who knows, maybe we'll end up getting 60 senators in November?!

If Gore and Kerry could not win the male swing voters, how do you think Obama can? It ain't gonna happen. In fairness, I don't think Hillary could do it either. These swing voters usually vote; the groups you mention above usually do not.

Can Obama win the blue states Kerry did, and flip enough red states as well??

like Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Nevada. Obama can't do that, not in a million years.

And Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (Kerry states) are going to be tough. And of course, he's going to lose all other southern states.

Kerry/Edwards had the "ABA voters". Obviously inspiration is what Obama's got plenty of....and in the end, that is what is needed....not getting people out to vote AGAINST somebody.

8. I was watching fox after msnbc started replaying

and I heard laura ingram say she was at one of the caucus locations tonight and when she compared the energy levels between the Republicans and the Dems all she ciould think of was that the republicans were in trouble.
