My official prediction: None of the Iowa winners will win their party nomination
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 10:50 PM by antiimperialist
1-) Obama will win the Iowa Democratic caucus
2-)Huckabee will win the Republican Iowa caucus.
3-)Clinton and McCain will face each other in November 2008.

1. I am surprised so many think McCain can win by doing the same thing he did in 2000
I think it will be Mitt. He has a pretty extensive organization. If Obama lwins IA, he will win NH and SC. I am not sure how Hillary could overcome that.

4. What makes you think that Hillary can survive a loss in Iowa, when...
her numbers are already falling in NH and SC. I see a pattern here.

6.  I hope you're right as far as the Iowa vote goes.
I am so sick of the lead up to the caucus that if it becomes meaningless we may never have to go through this nonsense again.

That goes for New Hampshire too. The constant TV ads are driving me nuts.

10. I predict it will be a Romney vs. Clinton race.
I say Romney because once on Tucker Carlson's show a guest said he knew for a fact that *w* and his sister Joan were backing Romney. So I'm figuring that Romney will be their new puppet.

I say Hillary because she's a corporate sweet heart.

...I doubt the people who handed *w* the White House twice, will give up their power so easily. The most corporate dem will win, -and that's Hillary.

11. I agree with you on the McCain part....
But I think that Edwards might end up winning the nomination.

But considering that John "ain't got no money to respond while they dog me out of the next 7 months" Edwards will be painted as a total Revolutionary "But I'm so pretty" crusader who has done more flip-flops in his career than even Romney contrasted against McCain's "strong" consistent and manly persona.....In which Case, it will be President Hero McCain for us in 2008, and the GOP will have beaten the CW odds, and of course, us.
