i think Hillary will win New Hampshire even if Obama wins Iowa
her campaign had doubts about her winning Iowa and playing down the role of the state for months. i think they have been working on a strategy for NH in case she loses Iowa for a long time. they will also play up Clinton's 1992 come back kid story in NH.

then there is Nevada and SC where i think Hillary and Obama will each win one of them or the results will be close and we will know only after super tuesday which one will be the nominee.

1. Iowa Has Never Elected A Woman To Higher Office
She will win NH. She could come in second in Iowa. Iowa has the lowest voter turnout rate.

New CNN New Hampshire Polls Today:

Romney/McCain tied in NH

Clinton Beating Obama By 4 Points, Edwards 3rd.

2. 4 points isn't much and a win in Iowa would help Obama greatly
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 06:36 AM by JI7
if the difference is just 4 points right now.

but that's if you don't take anything else into consideration. what i say is based on my thoughts of how the campaigns will respond.

i don't think Iowa has ever elected a minority to higher office either.

4. If Obama wins, he immediately becomes the anti-Hillary candidate.
Same for Edwards.

If either win, they will get a big boost from the others supporters.

Hillary will lose NH if she doesn't win Iowa.

8. The NH race is extremely close. Whoever wins Iowa will likely get a little bump in NH...
and that little bump will be all-important in a tight race. In this case, I gotta go with the conventional wisdom. The winner of Iowa is the winner of NH. If it's Clinton, she's the nominee. If it's Obama, Clinton will hound him all the way through Feb. 5, and it'll still be tight until that day. Clinton's the only candidate in either primary that can lose all the initial primaries and still be a threat. If Obama picks up Iowa, NH and SC, but Clinton pulls off Nevada and maybe Florida, this is far from over -- even though Florida's delegates mean squat this year.

9. regardless of Iowa, I belive Hillary will win NH-
We are a pragmatic bunch here in NH. We want to see results before we'll give someone buy-
I also think Biden & McCain will do well here.

As much as I dislike polls heres the latest;

10. Well odds are she will...in only 3 of 10 contested races since 1976...
Has the Iowa winner gone on to win New Hampshire (both parties)...not including races where there was an incumbent
