What role would you like to see Bill Richardson in?
I think Richardson has alot of good experience, & I really like the guy, but he has very slim chance of getting the Democratic nomination for POTUS....

Would you like to see him as a VP candiate, or should he run for the New Mexico senate seat?...

This is tough, because if he would be on a VP ticket, he doesn't have any real baggage to go after & he'd likely make NM turn blue in 2008....On the other hand, if he ran for senate, he likely wins easily & we can have another Democratic senator for a long time - and with senators like Joe Libermann, sure would help to increase it from the current 51....

New Mexico is the ultimate swing state; Gore won it by less than 1%, & Kerry lost it by less than 1%, so picking up that state is absolutely feasible...

3. It's really too late for him to run for the Senate
One of those Udalls has pretty much got that cornered.

He does have a long list of skills, so he could be useful in a wide variety of roles.

5. No, I think he has until Feb. 12th. (or there abouts)
to officially run for the NM senate seat.....I know he'd have to declare it in Feb., just not 100% sure of the exact date....

9. President
If not that then he should stay on as governor.

Given his strong opinions on the war and how to deal with the Middle East, I can't see any of the leading candidates choosing him as running mate or as Secretary of State.

13. Manage surf shop in Palo Alto CA
Richardsons work in arming the Taliban during the Clinton admin keeps me from really wanting the guy in any position of responsibility. I heard Richardson speak on Oct 2006, back then he was pushing clean coal, I laffed. Coal is not an alternative to oil, theres not enough of it. The solution is Solar, wind and fusion. Mentioning liquid coal fuels just makes me turn off to people.

16. He would be great as an instructor for
sexual harassment sensitivity training.

Or as a spokesman for the liquor industry. Better yet, he could speak for the many GLBT groups nationwide.

Then Secretary of state. He doesn't need to run for Senate it's a wrap for us with Tom Udall running. He already polls double digits above the two main Republican challengers.

And let him suck in all those new latino voters in the west so we'll have them and their children for 30 years to come. Oh, and we also get one of the most competent men in Government to stand in the co-pilot's seat in case something bad happens to the President.
