1. They're reposting the stupid Freeper e mail rumors over there
Of course those same Freeper e mail rumors were circulated by Team Hillary not even two weeks ago, so who knows where the Oprah fans got them?

2. The nation isn't going to join hands around the campfire for President Obama.
Edited on Sat Dec-29-07 05:23 PM by Amerigo Vespucci
Yes, the Oprah forum is divided.

Yes, DU is divided.

With all due respect to each and every person reading this that feels Barack Obama is our next President, I respectfully disagree. He's not John F. Kennedy, he's not the Second Coming of Christ, and he's not my President.

That's it, basically...I haven't decided what I'll do if Obama gets the nomination, but I can't envision any scenario in which I vote for him. I get the concept of being a "team player," but the stakes are just too high.

Obama is http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/12/21/opinion/main3639210.shtml">a little too close to George W. Bush for my comfort.

6. Looks grassroots to me, or they're doing a good job of disguising the astroturf
Edited on Sat Dec-29-07 06:14 PM by VarnettaTuckpocket
The spelling of "throaths" for instance, absolutely brilliant if it's faked. Looks more like an enraged Oprah viewer to me.

10. Who knew Oprah had actual KKK members watching her show?
One Klansman from Texas (who would have seen that coming?) writes....

The church's pastor, Jeremiah Wright is a radical black supremacist who associates with radical Muslims.

The church's doctrine is printed on their website

Part of Obama's church doctrine:

Commitment to the BLACK Community

Commitment to the BLACK Family

Adherence to the BLACK Work Ethic

Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the BLACKCommunity

Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting BLACK Institutions

Pledge allegiance to all BLACK leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System

Personal commitment to embracement of the BLACK Value System.

(If your church had such a doctrine, Jesse and Al and the NAACP would have 10,000 demonstrators out front in a heartbeat!!!)

Oh my God, is this guy saying that Obama is................ BLACK??? :wow:

11. Have you noticed that the asshole posters at the Oprah site are all are new to the forum?
and that the poster who started a thread called "Oprah stop pushing Obama down our throaths" signed up a month ago and has the username "HRC 408"?

Why post this shit again?

12. Yep and many of them signed up all on the same day to post on HRC408's thread
and didn't post much afterward. Or at least within a day or two.

I'd say this was a paid forum blitz

13. Clinton sock puppets
The NH staff pulled this stunt on BlueHampshire after someone posted a pro-Edwards article. A bunch of newbies signed up, and they all were traced to the Clinton campaign's servers.

All posters had to re-register.

18. Actually it's better than it was...the last couple times I popped in over there
it was "all slam all the time". Looks like some are finally hitting back. I soooooo would have closed the boards for a while. Oprah is tougher than I am.

20. Who's surprised by the backlash???
For a woman who admitted voting for both both Democrats and Republicans, who in past elections never endorsed anyone, who always appeared to champion women's causes, whose viewership is primordially women, who had a friendship with Hillary and who then comes out of the blue and endorses Obama, her decision is bound to raise some pointed questions.
