This "paid supporter" gig --where does one sign up?

That job title (or accusation) seems to show up every day or so, in reference to supporters of one or another candidate. So, what's the deal, from what corporation does one obtain an application?

Input from those in the know will be appreciated.

JL2, perhaps being sarcastic

2. Not sure, but I do know that George Soros pays all the anti-war protesters
Maybe he'll pay you to support a candidate.

I should be getting my check for protesting soon. Oh boy!

9. Sign up to work for "Prescott"...
...everything can be found at Wikiality.com: http://wikiality.com/Prescott_Temporary_Employment_Agen...

Of course, there are people who get paid to blog and change their own Wikipedia entries.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/01/24/tech/main2392...

Not to mention the people who get paid to post on message boards (like littlegreenfootballs.com), which I don't have a link to, but my gut tells me this happens.

11. Ahh, we just get paid in cheese.
I don't know where they get all the cheese from, but supposedly it doesn't need to be listed on disclosure statements. Probably some archaic earmark/subsidy to the dairy industry at play. But that's why it all seems so secret. Last time it was some pretty decent gruyere, but usually it's just blocks of Kraft sharp cheddar or a non-labeled equivalent. Fortunately, I really like most cheeses, so this is a decent gig for me. Otherwise, I would really have to curtail my political posting since I wouldn't be able to eat it as fast as they send it. That would get pretty wasteful. It always comes from Colorado of all places. I haven't been able to figure that one out. But I think they just lump in the postage costs with all their other mailing stuff, so that expense doesn't really show up anywhere either. I heard that the real "power-posters" also get mustard and sometimes some olives. That would be cool. Maybe other campaigns do it differently, I don't know. But if you like cheese, let me know and I'll see if I can hook you up.

12. OMG, a cheesehead conspiracy!

I will think over your offer for 24 hours, but must ask--
is Colorado's well-known Dr. Dobson involved?
