Biden Announces A New Labor Union Endorsement

Dec. 21: Biden For President is pleased to announce that Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Joe Biden has received a new labor union endorsement, from the Delaware Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 74. This is the fourth labor endorsement he has received in the past week.

Local 74’s Business Manager, John J. Czerwinski, stated “I am convinced that a Biden White House will understand that a growing union movement will mean a growing middle class and a stronger economy.

“I honestly believe that with Joe Biden, the labor movement will have as good a friend in the White House as it did when Franklin Roosevelt lived there.”

Sen. Biden thanked the Delaware Plumbers and Pipefitters for their continued support. “I’m running to restore the middle class, and unions are critical to this effort. Without a growing trade union movement, the middle class cannot grow. I am honored and heartened by the support of the Plumbers and Pipefitters in Delaware as well as so many other labor unions. As President, I will continue to work as hard for American workers in the future as I have over the past thirty-five years.”
