Poll question: The voter awoke before dawn. He put his boots on.
And he walked on down to the caucus venue...

(Could be a he or a she, but I hope it's a Democrat in any case.)

How do you believe the Iowa caucus turn out will go on Jan. 3rd?

Will they layer up in coats, and scarves, and snow boots and show up, or hunker down in the basement til it's all over?

QUESTION: Iowa voters will:

Sorry, polls are turned off at Level 3.

:hi:

I think it really depends on the weather, and that in itself is a sad commentary. But if you can't get out of your driveway...

2. It is. I've been lyin' low for a while now, planning a come-back album,
but the charts are full of people like Brittney Spears and Toby Keith, so it hardly seems worth it.

Finally found a roommate, though. His name's Ken. I think he's kind of got an ego problem. Says he used to run a huge corporation down in Texas and claims he knows George Bush. Oh well, we've all got our delusions.
At least he pays his half of the rent.

And Ken? Is that old coot still around? I was out of the country when he left this mortal plain, but I've heard rumors...

Happy Holidays to you, my friend! We're here for the duration; my DH works over X-mas and NY's as usual, so we're home. Considering alternatives, not such a bad thing. :)

3. If he walked over to the caucus venue at dawn
Wouldn't he end up cooling his heels for ten or twelve hours before the caucus actually happened?

I admre dedication, but ay carumba!

4. Let's hope its bitter cold...
the republicans, what with the group of losers they have, won't have the passion driving them to the caucus whereas the dems know its a matter of life and death.
