Congressman Boswell Endorses Hillary Clinton
Senior Iowa Democratic House Member Announces His Support for Hillary Clinton

Des Moines, IA Citing her strength and experience, and calling her the Democrats best chance to win the White House, Congressman Leonard Boswell today endorsed Hillary Clinton for President.

Boswell, who has served in Congress for the past decade and is a Vietnam veteran, praised Clinton for her 35 years of experience fighting for change. "Our next leader must have the vision and the know-how to make our country energy independent, bring healthcare to the uninsured and end the war in Iraq," he said. "We need someone with the strength and experience to take on the toughest challenges. We need someone who's got a lifetime record of getting results. I know just the person: my friend, Hillary Clinton."

Boswell also called Clinton the most electable candidate in the race. "The country cannot afford for the Democrats to lose another election. Theres too much at stake. Shes the most qualified candidate and has the best chance at winning back the White House."

Boswell made his endorsement this morning at a news conference with Clinton in Des Moines. A video announcement was also e-mailed to supporters across Iowa.

"I honored and thrilled to have Congressman Boswells support," Hillary Clinton said. "As the longest serving Iowa Democratic Member of the House, he understands what is most important to Iowans and their families. We share many of the same values and goals for our country; such as restoring Americas standing around the world, ending the war in Iraq and ensuring that every American has health care."

1. How dare he attack Obama like that!
By saying Hillary has strength and experience he is essentially calling Obama weak and inexperienced!!!!!!

I am so turned off by this latest example of Hillary's negativity!!!!

WHEN WILL SHE STOP!!!!!??

2. Excellent..and a good indication of Hillary's Strength..
I couldn't care less about the misplaced self-righteous indignation shown by the Obama Camp's outrage regarding Obama's cocaine use. Any voter has the moral authority and Right to question any candidate on his personal use of addictive drugs.. The silly asses are already picking out the drapes..

8. No, this is a confirmation of Hillary's conservative tilt. Boswell
is a such a Blue Dog. He regularly votes with the Republicans on all sorts of things. Very much with the prowar wing of the party. Just tells me that my decision to not support Hillary is on track.

I got a letter from Boswell today trying to make nice and giving a convoluted rationalization as to why he chickened out on supporting Kuicinich's articles of impeachment of Cheney.

But if war is your game, go for it. Hillary's your girl alright.

4. Re: Old Leonard Boswell
Boswell's endorsement of Hillary is just another in a long line of incidents and accidents that shows he is so old school establishment that he doesn't get it that we need real change. Hang on for all your worth Leonard!

6. Hell! I'll take old school anyday with a respected person as
Mr. Boswell. So, if Tom Harkin supports HRC then I guess that's old school as well?
