1. People here are used to bitching about everything
over the last 7 years, they don't know what else to do.

3. Blame is for
letting bills come to the floor that the republicans never would have and for a poor job as speaker and it deserves to be bitched about.

4. Who will stand up to the War Crimes Administration?
Who will put a stop to the Abuses of Humanity, the Constitution, and International Law?

You and I cannot. We don't have the means or the power.

A few do, but refuse. I am not going to march along follow-the-leader style as Organized Criminals destroy Our Democracy. It has nothing to do with Democrat bashing. We must call upon and pressure Our leaders to do the right thing.

5. all of them don't refuse to do something.
But even they get bashed on DU. Senator Leahy is regularly bashed here, and he was the one who wrote and sponsored the Habeas Corpus Restoration Act- among other things.

14. I would hope that Leahy only gets stick when he does something
not as good as sponsoring the Habeas Corpus Restoration Act.

No matter how much stuff one does well, one should still face the consequences for doing something poorly.

6. I only hope that her constituents have the where-with-all to vote her the hell out...
Edited on Fri Dec-14-07 10:05 AM by LakeSamish706
in the next election! She has failed miserably in her job as Speaker of the house, and so have many others in the Democratic Leadership role... Obviously these people have not gotten the message that they are the majority.

10. Ya know, if she did something positive as our rep., she wouldn't
be getting all the deserved criticism. But I for one won't stand by and throw flowers at her feet when she doesn't appear to be doing her job. Why should anyone? That (D) behind her name doesn't make her immune.
Why is impeachment off the table when so many constituents want to at least have a dialogue about it. Pelosi is tone deaf to our real fears and concerns. That's not worth rewarding.

11. They are getting blamed for not doing anything about it...
They are sworn to uphold our constitution. They aren't doing that. Impeachment proceedings should have started long ago.

Also....our reps should make the pukes stand up there and filibuster in order to block every bill. This new arrangement where the pukes have some sort of auto-filibuster is a bullshit capitulation by Democrats.

Bullshit! They would be viewed as heroic if they took a stand.

Everyone except the 28% Kool-Aid addled dead-enders want these mutherfuckers impeached!

24. I feel sick every time I see Pelosi bashed. Dems are doing what they
can without a veto-proof majority in the Senate. I do have hope that she will kick ass when Democrats have the WH again.
