letting bills come to the floor that the republicans never would have and for a poor job as speaker and it deserves to be bitched about.

Who will put a stop to the Abuses of Humanity, the Constitution, and International Law?
You and I cannot. We don't have the means or the power.
A few do, but refuse. I am not going to march along follow-the-leader style as Organized Criminals destroy Our Democracy. It has nothing to do with Democrat bashing. We must call upon and pressure Our leaders to do the right thing.

But even they get bashed on DU. Senator Leahy is regularly bashed here, and he was the one who wrote and sponsored the Habeas Corpus Restoration Act- among other things.

not as good as sponsoring the Habeas Corpus Restoration Act.
No matter how much stuff one does well, one should still face the consequences for doing something poorly.

in the next election! She has failed miserably in her job as Speaker of the house, and so have many others in the Democratic Leadership role... Obviously these people have not gotten the message that they are the majority.

be getting all the deserved criticism. But I for one won't stand by and throw flowers at her feet when she doesn't appear to be doing her job. Why should anyone? That (D) behind her name doesn't make her immune. Why is impeachment off the table when so many constituents want to at least have a dialogue about it. Pelosi is tone deaf to our real fears and concerns. That's not worth rewarding.

They are sworn to uphold our constitution. They aren't doing that. Impeachment proceedings should have started long ago.
Also....our reps should make the pukes stand up there and filibuster in order to block every bill. This new arrangement where the pukes have some sort of auto-filibuster is a bullshit capitulation by Democrats.
