Hillary's campaign is a disgrace from top to bottom. No one will forget that in the final moments of the Hillary campaign, they resorted to racism. They replied to hope with fear.

One of the most digusting parts of this is that it's actually happening on DU. The Clinton campaign will be gone soon, but it will always be remembered.

I never said he was in the campaign. I said the campaign got it started and her supporters ran with it.

apologize for using the phrase "great white hope", but both those posts were in response to Edwards supporters spreading the loathsome meme that a black man and a white woman aren't as electable as a white southern male- the worst argument that anyone can make for Edwards, and it really should be called out when it rears its ugly racist/sexist head.

And Obama is partly responsible. He's the one that made the recent speech in NH about his drug use. That in no way excuses Shaheen or posters here, but its really not fair to conflate posters on DU with her campaign.

The poll of Democratic primary voters (South Carolina) showed Clinton leading with 42 percent, Obama second at 34 percent and former Sen. John Edwards third with 16 percent.

The remaining Democrats were at 3 percent or less.

The poll's sampling error is plus or minus 4.5 for Democratic primary voters.

Obama, who moved up 7 points since the July poll, was helped by increased support among black voters.

While in July, 33 percent of African-American Democrats said they would vote for Obama, he now has 45 percent of their support compared to Clinton's 46 percent.
