3. Looks like an Oprah bounce
Probably will come down a little by next week. But overall significant gain by Obama. Hillary looks like the big loser here.

6. I don't think it's an Oprah "bounce" but an Oprah permanent increase in his advantage.
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 04:43 PM by jenmito
But Obama was up BEFORE her. And yes, Hillary looks like the big loser.

8. It's neither a bounce nor a permanent increase. No candidate moved over 1% from the previous poll,
which is well inside the margin of error. This was a "same as last time" poll result.

9. that's a completely different sort of poll
Kerry was ahead before Dean stormed him and Kerry completely collapsed, then rose again like a phoenix.

The top three in this race are much more solid than the top three in 2004.

16. You left out the first place finisher in that poll: "Don't Know" 23 percent
Whereas now, "don't know" is only at 8 percent.

Very significant difference between then and now.

24. Very good chance that Hillary will finish third in Iowa
with Edwards a close second to Obama, if not first.

The New Hampshire polls are even more exciting, they show Hillary in a statistical tie with Obama.
