Kucinich finishes top three in NJ straw Caucaus
Edited on Mon Dec-10-07 03:56 PM by inthebrain
Only 200 people voted;

HRC lost the straw caucus in NJ last night, in the 1st round. As well as Biden and Richardson. 19 of 21 state chairs support HRC, this support does not translate into boots on the ground, not in NJ.

In Roselle Park NJ, over 200 Democrats gathered to vote with their boots, literally. Edwards, Kucinich, Obama, HRC, Biden, & Richardson supporters got up from their chairs and walked around the room forming separate groups.

Final results

1. Edwards 43% (76 votes)
2. Obama 38% (68 votes)
3. Kucinich 19% (34 votes)

1. I'm thrilled for Dennis! Although bummed it wasn't Biden, it gives me hope
that people appear to be ignoring the media to a certain extent. Congrats, Dennis! :hi:

2. How wonderful. Kucinich will take New York.
To the surprise of pretty much everyone.

6. DECEMBER 15 2007 .COM
Sorry to have to keep repeating myself, but this is important.

Go to December152007.com and pledge to contribute to Kucinich's campaign on that date. We are attempting to collect $10 million! This should get the press's attention. Look what they did when Ron Paul collected $4.2 million. The date is symbolic, by the way: On December 15, 1791 the Bill of Rights took effect.

Please promote this event in any way you can. Make a sign, stand on a corner handing out flyers, put them on cars at the mall.. put a large sign in your car saying DECEMBER 15 2007.COM and park it somewhere legal that gets a lot of traffic. Hang a sign from a freeway overpass. Take out an ad in the paper - a large one if you have the money or can get some friends in on it. Email friends and family.

Finally, put your money where your mouth is. Even if it's only $25, DONATE!
