What do John Bolton, Dennis Kucinich and Al Franken have in common?
They were all on CBC radio last night.

Go here to listen to Carol Off's interviews on As It Happens:
http://www.cbc.ca/radioshows/AS_IT_HAPPENS/20071205.sht...

Sticking to his guns. Former US ambassador to the UN John Bolton says Iran still poses a nuclear threat, despite intelligence reports indicating otherwise.

Up in arms. US congressman Dennis Kucinich accuses Washington of warmongering and stubborn disregard for the facts.

... snip ...

He's good enough, he's smart enough, and doggone it, people like him. Radio talk-show host and satirist Al Franken wants Minnesotans to vote for him, Al Franken, in his run for the state senate.

... snip ...

As It Happens, the Thursday edition. Radio that's ahead of its time.

Spit on Bolton.

Shake hands with Kucinich.

Franken's interview is a bit of a dud.

1. Thanks for reminding me of the fine work done by the Canadians.
Probably yet another reason why Americans have been leaving for the
Northlands.

4. You know, I just checked out Bellingham Washington. Only 60 miles from Vancouver. . .
Rents look actually sensible, and there is a university there, too. It appears one can take the local bus route, walk or bike a few blocks to the Peace Arch and then pick up the Sky Train in Coburg and be in Central Vancouver in an hour. And watch first run Degrassi TNG, oops, listen to the CBC.

If folks there are as nice as he and his wife are, you'll be set.
