2. Numbers are not as important as trends.
The trends have been favoring Obama for a solid month of polling from many different national and early voting state polls.

3. Yes, it's still too early for numbers
Watching the trends is correct. Iowa is going to be a big player this time around. Edwards needs Iowa bad.

7. There's ample reason to believe that both Edwards and Richardson will place well.
Both are trending up with Obama as Clinton continues to nosedive. It's a pleasure to watch Hillary's inevitablility meme self-immolate on a daily basis.
Iowans deserve their first-in-the-nation status, imo.

8. The link in the OP doesn't support that.
Obama's percentages from the link in the OP:

11/18/07: 26%
11/19/07: 24%
11/20/07: 20%
11/21/07: 17%
11/27/07: 17%
11/28/07: 18%
11/29/07: 24%
11/30/07: 27%

He dropped nine points in three days, was in the high teens for a week, then recovered late this week. That certainly isn't indicative of a "solid month" trend.

10. The timing of the trend is important to acknowledge
More people are paying attention now than ever so the trendline is much more significant. Also, Obama's trending is running concurrent with
Clinton's nosediving numbers. All together, it's not a welcome sight for Hillaryworld. A similar thing happened to Kerry v. Dean in 2004 and
we know how that ended. That's why I hope the Clinton party machine keeps attacking Obama -- it's clear the strategy is turning off voters.

5. Zogby was on XM POTUS about a month ago and this is what he said about 04
starting in December of 03 just before the Iowa caucus and NH primary Kerry was just starting to gain a percentage point on Dean everyday even though Dean was still ahead so the question is are we starting to see a repeat of 04 with Clinton the favorite peaking to soon

6. Hillary drops a single tick in one poll and the crowd goes wild!
The level of micro-obsession is just amazing. Simpleton 'news' like, "Hillary has twitch in corner of eye!," sends the circular firing squad and their freeper allies into a frothing tizzy, it's bizarre to watch.

12. Exactly. The last 30 days are crucial. Her highest number was 49% in a Rasmussen poll.
Down 13 points in a relatively brief time. Her national numbers were supposed to be over 50% now and holding. Didn't happen.

13. Thanks God Edwards isn't gaining...
Obama has been a pisant, is highly annoying, arrogant, and I find his attacks childish...however at the end of the day I think it is all campaign tactics...and someplace deep, deep...very deep down, the Obama of the 2004 convention is still lurking...

With Edwards I am now convinced he believes his own bullshit....

15. NO SHIT...
I just looked at his health care plan, and in NO WAY do I want him to win. NO WAY. If people haven't paid any attention to it, they should. Particularly the collections aspect of it...garnish wages, collection agencies..?! WTF?!

AND, really, JE, and all of the other lawyers that have sued those in the medical profession, are themselves to blame for a large part of the cost of health care. Whether or not the suits were legit. Doesn't anyone else see that?!

I'm not trying to bash Edwards, but people really need to know about this.

I'm just hoping the Edwards train stays off the tracks!!!

17. Seems weird that Obama would have his lowest poll number in Months on Monday followed by his highest
number in about six weeks just 4 days later (a 10 point difference in four days).

Odd.
