Dear Mr Bush, what about the economy?
Bush hardly utters anything about the economy. All I've heard from him during his 'reign' is about wars and bogeymen who are going to destroy us.

I would like to see him reassure the public that the economy will not go down the tubes. I don't think he has a handle on things. I would like him to explain exactly why he has clocked up the highest deficit ever when he inherited a surplus from Clinton.

Well? We're listening?

1. Winger always think they do well with the economy, even though the opposite is true.
Edited on Sat Nov-24-07 05:53 PM by Perry Logan
Wingers go to their graves believing what they always believed, and for some reason they believe themselves to be geniuses with the economy. If the facts prove them wrong, they will pull stuff out of their butts and go on trucking. That's why their little interregnum (2000-2006) was such a--how shall I say?--exploding outhouse.

3. Information has never been more rigged...
Even the polls are telling us he still has a 26% rating. Puleazzzeee.

Far too generous, but the M$M is backing it and won't report anything else... until they turn on their masters.

5. A few days ago, bartcop had a cartoon on his site that applies here...
The cartoon showed Bill Clinton standing behind Hillary. He was holding a sign. He told her "I found this and dusted it off for you."

It was his famous sign: Its the economy stupid.

We are all aware of what the economy is because of the BushCo disaster. We have not hit bottom yet, but can it be far away?

7. Woodward, Bernstein & Bradley.
Before the M&M was the mouthpiece of the Republic party, they reported actual news. But that was the old WAPO, in case you're not old enough to remember.

Why they're not currently running a daily headline along the lines of "Cheney Saves Baby from Burning Building" is beyond me. Come to think of it, the spin on that one is hysterical 'cause you and I know he'd only be 'saving' it to eat later. Yummmmmm, crunchy baby.

My point is, the M&M used to be honorable and reported the news; they never limited themselves to regurgitating WH talking points or tried to BE or create the news. Of the few real reporters hanging on, too many of them are censored by their corporate masters.

The M&M monopolies need to be broken, the fairness doctrine needs to be reinstated and we need to take our country back. Corporate/Party control of the media is, in spirit, unconstitutional.

10. When did the takeover and gagging of the media start to happen?
I can't remember but did it start in Reagan's years?

9. I wouldn't trust him with a cash-secured debit card.
Seriously.

I wouldn't even leave loose change on the dresser.
