Be honest with yourself.
All you "issues" people out there - take a short, 30 second poll and find out which candidate actually comes closest to supporting the issues you support:

http://www.dehp.net/candidate/index.php

So far, I'm pretty amazed who's leading, when it comes to the issues that matter to people, especially when I consider who's leading in all the MSM polls...

1. Hey, these polls are controlled by the people putting in the data
Just remember that when taking the poll.

6. Do you think that the poll has been manipulated?
The staggering lead of Kucinich over the other Dems had me confused, though I sure as shit have a lot of admiration for him, myself...

I got three others to take this with me on Wednesday, and we all ended up with Kucinich in first place. We're all Canadian, though, so we may be a little to the left of most USAsians.

2. Who's Cox??
Kucinich, Gravel (I have no disagreements with this candidate) and Obama are my top 3. Duncan Hunter is dead last.

7. Biden is not the best match with me on the issues.
What gives him the edge in my book, is not the fact that his opinions are in closest agreement with mine, but that he's proven himself an effective leader through actions. While other candidates are explaining and revising and re-revising their *plans* on Iraq, for example, Biden got his plan through the Senate with 75 votes.

The next four years will be largely damage control and repairing the mess Bush left us. We're going to need an on-the-feet thinker who knows how to bring an idea to fruition.

10. One thing that always bothers me about these polls
is that the only gay issues they mention are marriage. What about ENDA and Hate Crimes both of which seperate the GOP from the Democrats.

17. taxes not even considered in this poll..
but the death penalty, a conceivable war in Iran, and wiretapping are!

my results..
Kucinich 49
Gravel 40
Clinton 39
Dodd 33
Biden 33
Edwards 29
Richardson 28
Obama 26
Paul 16
Thompson -6
McCain -14
Huckabee -27
Cox -32
Giuliani -35
Brownback -40
Tancredo -45
Romney -49
Hunter -52

this poll listed Mike Gravel as my second best candidate! but Gravel would replace the progressive income tax with a national sales tax. this poll listed Hillary Clinton as my third best candidate, yet she supports military action in Iran as a viable option. but in my opinion that would be a disaster. it would be far worse than our wars in Iraq or Vietnam, and would only strengthen radical terrorists by driving more detached young Muslims into their ranks! Only Kucinich and Gravel view military action in Iran as a mistake. But I disagree with them both on the death penalty!

the more I learn about the candidates in both parties, the more I feel isolated and marginalized in this election.

Really hard for me to take the whole process seriously. I always feel like I am getting punked.

15. Kucinich leads the pack for me
at +48

Clinton, Edwards and Obama follow in a tie at +26

Biden and Richardson and Dodd in the low 20s

Ron Paul at 2

All the Republicans are into the neg numbers.

Seeing these results --I'm still voting for Kucinich in the primaries --and consider Clinton, Obama and Edwards as toss ups for me.

Pretty much what I felt before the test, though will confess I LIKE Hillary better than I LIKE Obama or Edwards.

16. I don't need a quiz to tell me who I should support.
There are a million intangible things that can't be measured by a quiz.
