| McCain out-foxes Romney on anti-Mormon "push poll" calls (?) |
|
Remember how quick John McCain jumped on TV to demand a full legal investigation into what scurrilous dog was behind the anti-Mormon anti-Romney Push poll calls? Maybe he already had an inkling that Romney might of staged the calls himself to gin up sympathy... http://rightsfield.com/2007/11/17/and-even-curiouser / http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/11/17/could-romney-b...

| 1. According to the Huffpo article, Romney's campaign has also |
|
asked the New Hampshire AG to investigate--why would they want an investigation of something they know they were behind? I don't think Romney's stupid enough to do this, but I don't think McCain was behind it either. I think Rudy needs to be looked at here.

I doubt Romney is behind this - number one reason being if he was going to have people call for sympathy he would not use a basic lie about his faith (Book of Mormon and Bible are seen as equal by members of the LDS faith).
