Best Line of the Night: You will not get change by trading
Corporate Republicans for Corporate Democrats. John Edwards

No matter how things turn out in the end, John Edwards has
made a serious contribution. He has at least reminded many
Americans what the Democratic Party used to stand for and
most importantly had the courage to utter that ugly word
Poverty. Had it not been for Edwards the most important
issues such as Trade Policy(affects the future of our socity)
would not be discussed. Yes, he has done a good thing, Win, Lose
or Draw.

You will not get change by trading Corporate Republicans
for Corporate Democrats.

1. I thought it was kucinich's comment about the patriot act

or hillary's comment about "they are attacking me because I am ahead".

or perhaps even joe biden's entire performance. his contempt for the
entire debate process is most gratifying.

6. I liked how he answered that
I don't think Edwards did as bad as some here and in the media said.

12. He's my candidate
Edited on Fri Nov-16-07 05:29 PM by goodgd_yall
but I didn't like his pitiful attempt at humor "was that a planted question?" (or something like that). I could understand the "cute" comeback---he had to say something as a retort---but, I have to say, I appreciated DK's remark because he made a good point about JE's record not being so pure around trade agreements.

13. Best line of the night
Should go to Joe Biden for saying Bush will be impeached if he starts a war with Iran without Congress's permission.

Calling Democrats a corporate party just made Edwards look like the sanctimonious hypocrite he is. Nothing special about last night. Edwards uses that same line often.

15. BOOYAH
That's true. It should be obvious that if you desire change away frominstitutional inside Washington, Hillary is not your candidate.
