allowed. everybody else starts threads and WHINES their little eyes out if another candidate has the negative spotlight on THEM for a change yet it's supposed to be ok to have a relentless open season on Hillary and her supporters 24/7. I stopped criticizing Hillary because I didn't want to be associated with these over-the-top, OBSESSED fucks! the HYPOCRISY is so BLATANT it's PATHETIC.

5. Thats a good reason.
If you have problems though with her policies, I hope you still say so. And yes the two are completely different, although most don't see it that way.

6. I started defending her for the same reason.
It's gets completely hypocritical and ugly around here sometimes.

16. same here
I got to the point of defending her so much from all the innuendo and slander hurled her way that I got to liking her even more. Not only that, but from defending her so much, people often think that she's my number one choice. While she is a top choice of mine, Kucinich is my heartfelt favorite, and Obama used to be up there for a long time, although I'm somewhat disappointed in him lately. Any of Kucinich, Hillary, Obama, or even Biden would be fine with me. Did I just get off on a tangent? lol

19. I know, I get accused of being a Clinton supporter
all the time (as if it's the worst thing in the world to be btw) when she's only made it to my second favorite ... and that only happened after Obama pulled the McClurkin thing.

23. That's just what happened to me. I'd start defending her from some
vicious attack, and in researching the issue, would realize how much some people twist her positions.

So some of these attacks have backfired on the attackers, if the point of them was to take support away from HRC. They might actually be adding to it. The more I've learned about her REAL positions and background, the more I've warmed to her.

36. Me too
I haven't picked a candidate, but I'm absolutely disgusted by the anti-Hillary attacks on this board. I also defend the other candidtes from attacks, when appropriate, but she is getting the vast majority of the viciousness.

Many of the comments about Hillary on this board could easily be cut and pasted into just about any freeper website and no one would know they weren't composed over there.

29. After Gore, Clark, and Richardson - I back Clinton. Thanks in part to the DU/GOP hatred.
Granted, I despise fauxgressive Johnny Edwards, and thought Obama would be a good VP right up until he got in bed with the bigot wing of his church. The fringe of both parties Hate Clinton with a passion. But I see her as the stongest candidate in the general, and if we are ever to make Progress, we must win back the Whitehouse. Edwards would get destroyed by Rove Inc, utterly destroyed. And Obama is just too inexperienced to survive a national election. And so, Hillary. And hopefully, Clinton/Richardson!

7. Hello again, I can only speak for myself....
I am new here. When I first came here I relished how great it was to find people to share views with and rally around something more than a candidate, an idea? Maybe, I don't know, a principal? All I see are attacks and swift jabs from people who seem to be here with one goal in mind. Hey, I don't love Hillary, I admit it, and I'm no fan of the Clinton years or the associations they have had, but I can't even say something of substance about any of that with out 9 or 10 people out there just waiting to attack and defend. If I say anything positive about my candidate of choice, it's the same attacks and unsubstantiated accusations. It's sad really.

I'm new here. I'm new to all this on-line activism. But I'm not new to life. Or politics. Or the politics of hate.

Our candidates should have a battle of ideas and principals and so should we. They should rough it up a little. But do we have to?

I promise I will never call Hillary or any of you an insulting name. And if I should state my point of view, I will try to do it in an informed, hopeful and objective way.

Good luck to everyone.
Good luck to the Democratic Party

9. Don't Hate, Just Dislike Very Much
There's a battle for this nation going on brother, you've either got to be on one side of the barricades or the other. IMO, some Democrats are very detrimental to the well being of this country and its people. I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate them, but I dislike them quite a bit...

detrimental, which is why we should debate tangible things like issues and voting records because opinions don't persuade anyone.

If you can't see the hypocrisy in that that then what you wrote in the thread I responded to explains everything about you.
