If one Gaffe is truly enough to cause Sen. Clinton to falter
How can we expect a Clinton Administration to conduct business in the White House when off script stuff comes at you almost every day...

I'm very disappointed that our "front runner" is so tepid in her response to such a key issue for large parts of the country that view illegal immigration as the number one issue...

It's a gaffe that will be seized upon from now until the end of the 2008 election cycle...

It's her "I was against the bill before I was for it" scenario played out again...

1. Maybe you know...
Is how the campaign run indicative of how the administration will be run?

I really have never thought about this one...

2. Everyone should know Bill will have final approval and sign-off
on major domestic and foreign policy initiatives. From his hands-on experience to both their needs to preserve his legacy, even though establishing her own.

I've had enough of 2 family rule. Enough Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton? Edwards/Obama 2008.

3. Well, our currency is sloshing around in the banana republic part of
the swimming pool...

Why shouldn't our political process follow suit...

4. You mean a gaffe as large as capitalizing a common noun?

13. Not wishful thinking...
I have been laid up in bed for the better part of a week and so I haven't been paying all that close of attention...

But I was paying enough to know that the cable shows were all upset about the supposed gaffe and that people who don't live and die with stuff political would see what I saw this passed week and wonder...

8. What makes you think she's faltered because of that?
She did very well in the post-debate polling, and her recent minor slip in the polls is, in my view, more attributable to the attack campaigns from JE, BO, and the Republican peanut gallery. I would say her ability to maintain her standing in the face of media scrutiny even greater than that which brought Dean down would be cause for relief, not concern.

9. A whole lot of this is media hype! The media desperately wants
fighting in the primaries! LISTEN carefully to her response! She said she didn't think it was something a Governor should do, but she understood why he was doing it. WHAT'S WRONG with that answer?

Did you listen to Chris Matthews before the debate? He started several days before the debate to "cousul" Obama to got after Hillary. All these talking heads are dying for a fight! They want one in both parties! "Chris even said what he really wants is for several different candidates to win in each of the early primary States so we could once again have a primary go down to the actual convention! He said "I want a real race here!"

14. I'm guessing 95% of all anti-Clinton posts are based on false premises.

Inasmuch as they even make a point. Same with all the "Congress betrayed us" bullshit.
