Question Wording: Would you say you strongly support (candidate), somewhat support him/her, or
do you think you might vote differently on primary day?
Strongly Support Somewhat Support Might Vote Differently Unsure
Hillary Clinton
November 2007 64% 25% 10% 1%
October 2007 59% 27% 14% <1%
Barack Obama
November 2007 49% 30% 18% 3%
October 2007 58% 29% 13% <1%
John Edwards
November 2007 46% 32% 22% <1%
October 2007 49% 18% 32% 1%
Looks like Hillary lost some leaners but solidified her core.
Second Choice: The top three Democratic candidates are also the second choice of many likely
Democratic presidential primary voters. 22% will opt for John Edwards and 21% will choose
Hillary Clinton if they do not end up voting for their current first choice. 19% say Barack Obama is
their second choice for the presidential nomination
They have a cool graph showing where voters went from which candidate.
Edwards and Obama did better at grabbing other candidate supporters while Clinton did very well as the 2nd choice of Obama & Edwards supporters.
