Is Al Gore being coy to help Hillary?
He knows his endorsement won't do too much for Hillary, so maybe by not ruling out a run and keeping his supporters from choosing someone else, he is making sure Obama or Edwards can't win.

6. Al Gore is done with this sort of political posturing
He may support a Democratic nominee or not. He won't run either.

7. Never
He was used and abused by the Clintons and in trying to distance himself in 2000-- failed along with voter fixes etc.

He has a new "world" to save, and despite USA politics, and he will stay out of the campaign as long as possible and instread concentrate on his global agenda and Current TV.

He might give a boost to whomever the Dem nominee is -- IF --that nominee is not in thrall to the energy industry.

If Hillary is the candidate -- I bet he will stay silent -- UNLESS she begs him to endorse toward the end of the campaign, if she is in as much trouble as I expect.

Even then, he will cut a deal for the future that she will have to swallow hard to accept, given the cost and her corporate leanings.
