Poll question: Odds of a Clinton/Edwards ticket?
Speculating that Hillary will be the nom. Not to offend the Obama crowd, but I don't think it'll be him. What are the odds it will be Edwards?

16. Clark would be a nice choice.
Its got to be an interesting mix, ideally more left than her, but also plugged into the perception of strength. Clark fits the bill. Biden may be too similar to her, but I think as far as raw star power Obama is still a possibility, no matter what people say.

2. I don't think he'd accept the number 2 spot again
after 2004, I think he made it pretty clear that he didn't like playing second fiddle, IIRC.

5. Who ever runs as Clinton's VP will be playing second fiddle
to Bill anyway. Obviously not constitutionally, but would be totally over shadowed by him. I can't think of a politician that would want that!

8. Bayh, Kerrey, Carnahan
I was thinking she might go for Breaux for the southern vote, but now I think that's too far-fetched. She'll go for a nice safe centrist from the midwest. Maybe Kerrey is even being considered and didn't run for the senate because of it.

13. He's got kids in politics
Robin Carnahan is Secy of State, Russ Carnahan is a Congressman. Not very experienced, but might put Missouri in play and give her some midwest affability.

9. I heard there's rumors of a Clinton/Webb ticket. I really like Webb, and
other than Biden, our candidate needs a rational military oriented running mate.

14. I hadn't even thought of Webb. Wow.
He'd definitely compliment Hillary.

He's a fighter and really looks the part, whatever that means.

That ticket might be unstoppable.

24. Webb looks like a real shining star on the Dem party.
How many times has he already given the radio address to rebut Shrub? I know I've heard him several times, and I don't always hear who gave it.

I know when I first heard about him as a possible, I thought it was a terrific idea!

17. There would be a serious chance if Edwards were more of a militant socialist.
Right now he's just being too much of nice corn-fed country boy. The person who stands behind Hillary should be an American Hugo Chavez, just waiting for a chance to nationalize everything but kept chained to the wall by Hillary and her "moderate" politics.

Hell, he didn't even help carry his own state last time.
