Stoller Sums It Up
The Democratic electorate is dominated by women, and Clinton’s lead is coming from educated women moving her way from Obama. It turns out that John Edwards and Barack Obama have a mostly male senior staff, while Hillary Clinton has a more even staff, with a slight weighting towards women.

It’s bad strategy not to have a diverse senior staff when the electorate is diverse. It’s even more of a problem to have a senior staff of mostly men when the voters you need are women.
