Hillary Clinton at 28% in Iowa
http://www.strategicvision.biz/political/iowa_poll_101807.htm

Hillary Clinton 28%
Barack Obama 23%
John Edwards 20%
Bill Richardson 9%
Joseph Biden 6%
Chris Dodd 1%
Dennis Kucinich 1%
Undecided 12%

I'm not a fan of Strategic Vision Polls, but it was the most recent Iowa poll I could find that that included a undecided choice. If someone has a more recent one, I'd love to see it. I think that is important because one thing I've noticed is that all those polls showing Hillary in the 40's and 50's are polls that either restrict choices to only a few (like this one: http://www.cbsnews.com/htdocs/pdf/102507_newspoll.pdf) or eliminate the undecided choice. The fact that 12% of Iowans are still undecided is significant--I wonder who those people will break for.

1. The polls showing Hillary in the 40s and 50s aren't Iowa polls.
Those are national polls. I think the highest she's been in Iowa is around 33%.

2. 6% is "on the map." Biden will beat Edwards for 3rd in Iowa.

3. Consider this question in that poll:
7. When making your selection for a presidential candidate, what are you looking for most in the candidate, charisma, experience, or ideology? (Democrats Only)
Experience 34%
Ideology 28%
Charisma 25%
Undecided 13%

Obviously Joe Biden is the most experienced candidate.
