Are the GOP...they tolerate little variation from the talking points. They bounce on them and rip them to shreds. Dems just cut them enough so they bleed to death-slowly.

Hacking for the DLC. She is a threat to the power of the g.o.p., that's why they hate & vilify her.

People like to complain about the DLC, but they vote in line with Democrats much more often than Blue Dogs.

| 6. I thought that the right loved Hillary? |
|
They want her to get elected so that she can continue the Bush agenda. You know...stuff like overturning Roe v. Wade, eliminating social programs, nominating conservatives to the Supreme Court. That kind of thing.
Or so I'm told.
So, which is it? Do they love her or hate her?

| 8. Because her husband did everything they were supposed to do more-or-less right |
|
Because they are further right then any sane party should be.
Because she would do the same thing as her husband.
eg: Small Government, economic growth, little concentration on social issues etc... I'm sure she'd do those thing and do them right...but I'd rather see the Republicans come to their sense and move to a sensible "right" so that we would a legitimate "left" as well.
Just my 2 bits.

| 9. she is NOT a republican. 90% of her social issues are progressive or liberal |
|
However, she does have some major flaws, not the least is her international experience, with the handling of Iraq being the most obvious example

They are downright afraid of strong women. In fact, they might be afraid of all women which could explain both their smokescreen family values and their lust for young boys.

| 13. I guess I must have missed her announcement that she was changing parties. |
|
The only comparison I see between Hillary and the GOP is her love of corporate and lobbyist money. And we all know said money always comes with expectations of preferential treatment later.
I don't like Hillary's support of the war, I don't like how her opinion changes to suit the current audience, I don't like her befriending big business, and I am not thrilled with the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton cycle if she's elected. I think we need more diversity than two families running the country for at least 24 years in a row, possibly 28. That's almost three decades, and that's too long.
We need to diversify, break the corporate hold on politics, and return the power to the people. I don't think Hillary will allow any of that to happen, but I'll vote for her anyway if she gets the nomination, because I don't want another GOPer in there.

the Gop believes us (Dem's) to be stupid. as well as they believe the vast majority of the electorate to be stupid as well. if they bash one particular candidate thay feel we DEMS WILL RALLY BEHIND THEM BLINDLY! sadly this is true. as evidenced with how they propped up Kerry to knock him down. This tactic is straight out of Roves playbook.

| 16. The right wing hate machine despises Hillary for 2 reasons. 1.)She exposed the VRWC as hatemongers |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-15-07 10:29 AM by Maribelle
2.) For all their money, for all their power, the hatemongers were only successful in driving up the Clinton's approval ratings, which either of the Bushes, Cheney, and the rest of the neoconservative thugs combined would not receive today.
The Hunting of the President by Joe Conason and Gene Lyons gives us an education into that hate machine that still pursues the Clintons with unquenchable lust, a vile and consistent drive, which is only surpassed by their lust for power.
