I am just curious whether it was ever factually resolved who backs or runs the site.

9. Yes. The owners and administrators of domain names used to be able to be found with WHO IS engines.

I've been a software analyst and computer engineer since the mid 1990s. Things have changed quite a bit and it looks as if finding site ownership is no longer possible.

8. I heard that some news outlets tried to track it down and this is what they say:

they said it is registered to someone in DC. The name is kept from being discovered and you cannot find out who it is.
they feel it is insiders because of some of the stuff they write is very inside the beltway.
the guess is that if it is not from the campaign direct, it is someone associated with the campaign.

14. My wife, Radio_Lady, could try to contact them through their webmaster.

She is a recognized member of the Portland, Oregon press. She brought it up on her computer and said, "It's pretty! It's pink!"

They also have www.hillaryis44.ORG That must be a non-profit.

They test fire memes like Rezko etc to see which can gain traction amongst Democratic and independent voters.

it comes off as a perfect "rat fuck" where you slime two people for the price of one.
