Could her co-sponsoring Webb's Iran legislation be a sign of things to come?

I think it would be a great ticket. The downside is losing his senate seat to a possible republican takeover and gasp Macaca man may get appointed or run again for his old seat. But looking at the greater good, if Webb gets Hillary elected president, sacrificing one senate seat is probably worth it. We'll be gaining others.

4. No need to sacrifice a senate seat.
Clinton/Clark 08'

It even alliterates nicely, and will look great on a bumpersticker.

6. Do you honestly believe w/Hilliary as our candidate that we'll GAIN Senate seats? I don't.
I believe her candidacy will bring out every member of the religious right, anti-feminists, and Bill Clinton haters to vote against any and all Dems on their ballot.

She's too polarizing and we'll going to lose if she's our candidate. And, that's coming from a staunch feminist. But concern for my country has to override my desire to have a female President. All those Supremes who be retiring will be replaced by strict conservatives if she loses.

8. HRC is not my first choice,but...
I don't think that she or any other Dem. nominee can be beaten by anyone the Reich has offered up. It's not their year. It may be closer with HRC, but the negatives are far and away worse for the gop than for her.

14. I have a friend who is involved in political
advertising, and he echoes your sentiments, as do I. He thinks a Hillary candidacy will cost Dem Senate and House Seats and feels there's practically no chance she could put together an electoral victory.

Webb should keep that seat for life as far as I'm concerned.

18. Webb called it like it is on Hardball...
Said Hillary was trying to cover for her mistake in voting for Lieberman/Kyl by signing on to his legislation...

If you don't believe me, watch the repeart of hardball tonight.

Also said that his collegues who voted for the IWR new EXACTLY what they were signing onto. He said that they are covering by trying to fuzz the reasons for their vote.

Don't think Mrs. clinton will be all too thrilled with his comments.

20. I don't think so
Webb isn't a real politician type. He wouldn't be happy playing second fiddle to Hill. Taking him off the Senate leaves a vulnerable seat as well that could tip the balance in the entire Senate unless kept by a Democrat. We worked too hard to get this seat to give it back up in two years and hope Governor Kaine could appoint someone who would keep it. We're working to increase our number to two Democratic Senators from Virginia in 2008. That's would be better than a VP for us.

21. No, We Have so Few Senators with Spines in the Senate
Keep Webb in the Senate. VP Candidates are a dime a dozem.
Strong Senators are in short supply.

Besides when we are in Iraq for eons, you will then hate Webb.

We need his voice, experience, and efforts in the Senate. Lets try looking somewhere outside of Congress for a change.
