7. One of my proudest votes.
I worked in very RED Bakersfield, CA for Mondale/Ferraro. Was lots of fun. Pissed a lot of people off.

14. Remember how Betty Friedan was passing out cigars that read "It's a Girl!" at the convention?
It was a high moment in my political life to see that!

17. That was so cool.
I wish I could find video of Gerry's nomination and speech.

I remember getting up and turning on the TV (I worked nights) and saw the press conference in MN when Mondale selected her.

I called our local Democratic party and signed up to work.

19. I have a photo of me and my daughter with our Mondale-Ferraro
buttons on our shirts. It was taken during Parents Weekend on the Mount Holyoke College campus her senior year. Life was good...

9. If she gets called senile, I may consider the ignore feature.
The only one I had on it was tombstoned, but that insult may be enough for me to add more today.

11. Hand tight .... it's bond to happen.
Either that or some use of one of the smears used against her in '84.

16. Wasn't that just adorable?
It's amazing how lack of respect and rudness passes of as "politcal debate" these days.

12. I'm sure she did!
;-)

One thing that has always pissed me off was the Senate race when Gerry got smeared. She would have been a great senator.

I hope her health is good. Didn't she have a cancer?
