A lot of these questions are really hard...

My point is if a person says any situation is unacceptable than at some point that person has to be willing to use force if other methods don't work...

Say I take Mr.X's lawn mower and I refuse to return it and Mr.X says its unacceptable...If methods such as persuasion don't work and Mr.X was serious when he said the situation was unacceptable he will have to use force; probably by calling the police to use force. on his behalf ...

Unfortunately, not every problem has a solution. I can only hope the memory of their war with Iraq in the 1980s will make Iran skittish about about further conflict and that they will be willing to negotiate with a reasonable Western government.
