"Mitt and Kerry Wish You a Great Pride Weekend! All citizens deserve equal rights"
Purported Pro-Gay Rights Flyer From Mitt Romneys 2002 Campaign Surfaces
By: Logan Murphy on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 at 12:18 PM - PDT

Via The Raw Story:

ABCs The Note highlights this flyer which was posted by the Massachusetts Democratic Party on RomneyFacts.com.

As that shakes out, ABC has obtained one flier Romney doesnt want you to see. Its from 2002, with Romney was running for governor with Kerry Healey as his running mate. Mitt and Kerry Wish You a Great Pride Weekend! All citizens deserve equal rights, regardless of their sexual preference. (Its even pink.)

It was said to have been handed out during the 2002 gay pride parade.

Heres Mitt blasting the Iowa Judge who struck down the states ban on gay marriage, Powerline downplays Romneys past secret gay history and if you listen carefully, youll hear the sound of Hugh Hewitts head exploding:

Romney: The real impact of gay marriage is not something youre going to recognize in a year or two. The impact is over generations. I believe each child in America has the right to have a mother and a father.

2. Makes me sad. Mittens could have been a decent man, if he wasn't
such a calculating, ambitious opportunist.

4. No, he couldn't.... he was my Governor, and trust me when I tell you:
The man is human Crisco. He never met a group he wouldn't pander to for votes. He was the most disingenuous, ambitious, oppotunistic a**hole -- It just OOZED from him when you saw him in person. Yuck!

He never had a chance at being a "decent man". Not ever. You are wasting good "sadness" over that one!
