Fox News chosen to cover the Democratic convention?????
What is going on here? Is this true?

Fox Gets Denver. Will Dems Bail?
September 16, 2007 12:08 PM ET | Bedard, Paul | Permanent Link

It's the proverbial boxed-into-a-corner situation. Fox News Channel, the cable network boycotted by Democrats running for president, has been handed the duty of televising the Democratic National Convention in Denver next summer. How could the cable station—which scrubbed its Democratic debates because candidates worried about bias and refused to participate—get the job of providing the pool cameras in the convention hall? The networks decide. So far—surprise—none of the candidates have balked.

Tell me this is one of those Onion article, please, please.

2. Based on the emmys tonight, that would mean the whole convention will be censored.
All we'll see is the back of the disco ball they kept showing whenever someone said something they didn't like.

3. pool cameras are nothing new and it happens during the presidential debates
my once pet peeve---Fox "News" shouldn't be considered a news channel. Fox most likely won't be the pool camera at the National Republican fascists convention, it generally switches between networks.

12. Has nothing to do about commentators
on network provides the camera shots but each network still uses their commentators and reporters.

7. But FAUX Will Decide Where the Cameras are Pointed
The Convention is the most TV airtime Democrats ever get, and Faux will control ALL the cameras.

I think I'm gonna :puke:
