WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Friday called the Bush administration "phonies" for suggesting a modest withdrawal of troops from Iraq is the result of progress rather than the fact that the U.S. has no more troops to send.

go Joe!

3. Biden should demand that funding be stopped--oh silly me--that
would require a spine.

4. And in typical RNC form, their best response is to attack Biden by stating its the 20th anniversary
of a plagiarism event by Biden and call him "phony"...

Wow, are they desperate...they know they can't respond to the accuracy of his accusation, so they attack the messenger....

Guess what RNC? Biden is right....you can attack him, it doesn't change the facts around what he's saying.

5. Yeah, that was a pretty pathetic response
They couldn't adequately respond to the allegation, so they attacked the messenger and had to use very OLD ammo at that. They are afraid of Biden right now as he is getting too much press and people are taking him seriously.

12. I've read about his early campaigns
and he has a different approach, a bit more old school. He does a lot of one-on-one get togethers where he talks directly to people at informal settings. He also spent a lot of time in Iowa campaigning for Dems there before he announced his candidacy. It is a slower process, but very effective.
