Hubby and I were listening to Sen. Dodd on KO a few minutes ago. He sounded really, really good. I didn't know that his father was a judge at the Nuremburg trials! I did like his answer to "what would you do on Jan 21, 2009?" "Restore the Constitution."
than he's been given credit for. As far as I know he's the first one to say he'd restore the constitution. I'd vote for him, and now I'm putting him in my first tier of candidates. He would make a damned good President.
But because he isn't flashy, and doesn't constantly have controversy swirling around him, the MSM mostly just consigns him to the background/ It's unfortunate, but true. :(
9. Dodd actually seems to be consistent in his views, supports an Iraq pull out, has some good ideas on
environmental issues. he seems a bit quirky, but that makes him interesting and different. I think he is worth a giving a chance to sell himself to us as a presidential contender.
We have a lot of really good people who are fighting this battle and don't get near enough credit for what they're doing. Just because he doesn't go to work in a pink crown, it doesn't mean he isn't keenly aware of the travesty that has taken place in this country. They all do and are trying to get through this without ripping the country completely apart.
