Chris Dodd sounded really good on KO
Hubby and I were listening to Sen. Dodd on KO a few minutes ago. He sounded really, really good. I didn't know that his father was a judge at the Nuremburg trials! I did like his answer to "what would you do on Jan 21, 2009?" "Restore the Constitution."

I think it's time to give Sen. Dodd a look.

1. I already have.
He'd be a great nominee, but I'm afraid he's been too overshadowed at this point.

2. He said he was going to propose legislation that seperates
funding for the troops from funding for the war.

Yahoo!!!!

I have been waiting for someone to do this.

I like Dodd.
He should be getting more attention.

I got the feeling that KO does too.

11. I can't see any dem voting against that.
It is the perfect piece of legislation.

Gives the dems a chance to end funding for this war and still support the the troops.

I was hoping someone else would have done this ... but hey I'm glad someone in my "second tier"
was on the ball.

3. I thought he gave good answers at the debate that Olbermann hosted
I think he'd make a good President.

4. I think he's a much better candidate
than he's been given credit for. As far as I know he's the first one to say he'd restore the constitution. I'd vote for him, and now I'm putting him in my first tier of candidates. He would make a damned good President.

6. Dodd is a very capable soul. And counts among his supporters Paul Simon,
who writes some fine music, and Paul Newman, who has sent a fat check.

Dodd's one of those stalwart NE liberals.

I like stalwart NE liberals.

7. I think he'd make a very good president
But because he isn't flashy, and doesn't constantly have controversy swirling around him, the MSM mostly just consigns him to the background/ It's unfortunate, but true. :(

12. This country can't afford such an IMMATURE press corps.
My gawd how their immaturity has helped ruin this nation the last two decades.

9. Dodd actually seems to be consistent in his views, supports an Iraq pull out, has some good ideas on
environmental issues. he seems a bit quirky, but that makes him interesting and different. I think he is worth a giving a chance to sell himself to us as a presidential contender.

14. He's a great guy
We have a lot of really good people who are fighting this battle and don't get near enough credit for what they're doing. Just because he doesn't go to work in a pink crown, it doesn't mean he isn't keenly aware of the travesty that has taken place in this country. They all do and are trying to get through this without ripping the country completely apart.
