5. Criticism does not have to be 'insulting'...
Insulting is when politicians lie.

7. I criticize both parties and their members but
I probably go after the rethugs a lot more than the Dems unless they really
badly, imho, screw up badly and ignore what the majority wants them to do!

It depends on who it is and what the issue is... :P All are fair game, imho,
especially in this political environment and no one is above criticism, even me. ;)

9. It's REQUIRED, isn't it?
It isn't just a big tent, it's a big ward. When you've got slobbering ninnies traipsing around who like the likes of McCain, Nader and Paul, it's hard to keep civil.

13. Sometimes, yes
It is sometimes tactically counterproductive to let a personal vetch against a candidate erupt into vigorous disdain, but all of our representatives are as prone to errors and questionable notions as any human.

To say otherwise is to suggest that, of the 280-odd Congressional representatives (to say nothing of those in the states), none of them could be wrongheaded or sometimes even stupid. They all have it coming, but some of them are able to mitigate it to a greater degree than others.

24. The people who insult dems like Hillary rationalize it by saying
"Well, she's more of a republican than a democrat." Putting aside the fact that she votes with the Democratic party 93% of the time, it seems more like the genocidal "It's not murder because you're not a human" argument.
