2. Betrayus
The whole ad was not visible to me, but what I saw said:
General Petraeus or General Betrayus?

It was a question. Would the General tell the truth or would he betray us by giving a false story. I repeat. It was a question.
Why in the world wouldn't Americans ask that question? They've been lied to, sent to war, killed, and demeaned by this administration. Generals have been fired and retired for disagreeing with this administration or for even making suggestions they did not like. Good Grief, why wouldn't the citizenry be suspicious of a General whose job depends on this report?

AND, even more frightening, it seems that some in our government, and some in our media, no longer believe in free speech.
Jeez.

3. Bush is abusing power!
Petraeus works for Bush, he reports to Bush, he is not going to be removed for pushing the admin position.

Americans should ask questions, but Petraeus wasn't answering to the Congress on behalf of the American people.

As far as free speech, look around this board, evidently any elected Democrat who doesn't like the ad is a fascist or traitor.

Free speech works both ways you know, especially in a simple opinion.
