Is Sen. Craig A Loyal Bushite? Or Was He Wavering On His Support Of The Iraq War?.......
just curious because of the way he went down so fast and the lack of support he got by his own party. The sure threw him under the bus fast and abandoned him. It was a 1-2 punch. First the breaking of the story and then the odd release of the taped intrerrogation. I don't think I've ever heard a taped interrogation before.

Then yesterday another thread about Sen. Warner maybe not to run for the senate again. Isn't it of recent days that he was calling for * to begin a pullout of troops in Iraq.

I guess I'm just wondering if Craig isn't being made an example of to show other wavering Repugs that they better stay the course or the same could happen to them as happened to Craig. You know FISA and all. I just don't trust *Co.

1. Yep. they just love to expose the hypocrisy of their anti-gay, "family values" stance
You need to put the :tinfoilhat: away on this one. This scandal is a nightmare for the Republicans; even they are not that self-destructive.

Voted NO on redeploying troops out of Iraq by July 2007. (Jun 2006)
Voted NO on investigating contract awards in Iraq & Afghanistan. (Nov 2005)
Voted YES on requiring on-budget funding for Iraq, not emergency funding. (Apr 2005)
Voted YES on $86 billion for military operations in Iraq & Afghanistan. (Oct 2003)
Voted YES on authorizing use of military force against Iraq. (Oct 2002)

Every vote he has cast since getting elected to the Senate is available on the webpage cited above. I'm hard-pressed to find anything out-of-line with the wingnut mindset.

Unless he's been expressing reservations in private discussions, from all appearances he's still toeing the neocon line.
