Sexism and racism in our own party
Currently my support is with Obama, but I have no doubt that the "Hillary Haters" wish they could go after Obama with the same venom. It's just that you don't, because you fear you'll expose yourself. So, since it's more acceptable to be sexist, you reserve all your bitter comments for Senator Clinton. Obama is the only front runner who was against the war from the beginning. Instead of clinging to that, you push him out the way and complain about Al Gore not running.

It's pretty pathetic. Don't tell me all this stuff about DLC because it won't fly. All of them are "DLC." Al Gore was in the Clinton administration and would have led in the same exact manner as Clinton, were he allowed to serve back in 2000. Edwards co-sponsored the IWR for Christsake! Wake up! As the election nears, reality is setting in. We cannot afford to hold foolish grudges and help Republicans get into office for another 8 years.

1. I like Obama - I like Hillary
Just in a race that boils down to less then 1% margin (presidential elections 2004-2000) I don't think they will win

There is just too many bigots out there we may soon be calling "Swing Votes"

2. Senators Obama and Clinton are great human beings. It's just that we need Obama now
after 8 years of disastrous government, deteriorated international relations, terrorism and divisiveness. Obama is the face of national healing and change. He will lead us into a glorious era in our history.

We must trust him.

3. Oh, please.
Does it ever fucking stop? It's not sexism.

Hillary's Status Quo.

Obama thinks you can reason with Republicans.

At least Edwards KNOWS we're in a fight.

4. Agree and disagree
While I have deep respect for both Clinton and Obama, neither is my preferred candidate.

I do see plenty of racism on the boards from time to time, but it is directed southward and disguised under the false banner of protecting jobs and borders.

6. Oh, Bull. If Barbara Boxer was running, it would be a different story.
And if Hillary -or Obama- is the nominee, I will of course support her or him.

Until then, though, neither gets a free pass- Hillary on Iraq.. or Obama on oxymoronical stuff like "clean coal". Edwards has the IWR to answer for, as well- but he's done a much better job than HRC of atoning for it.

Gore opposed Iraq from the beginning. Gore has answered for his badly-run campaign in 2000. His actions and words since then have demonstrated where he is on every important issue of our time. He is far and away the best human for the job.

Unfortunately, I don't think he's going to run- so I plan to vote for Kucinich in the primary. Because of my sexism and racism, no doubt. :eyes:

9. truth might hurt alot if you had any to offer - hillary critics are not necessarily sexist, obama
critics are not necessarily racist, and critics of both are not necessarily haters. Those are just your opinions, not any kind of truth.

speaking of foolish grudges, sounds like you have one or more yourself.

BTW how many of these so called hillary haters are actually obama supporters and vice versa?

I personally would vote for either as party nominee, but support neither as primary candidates. I have seen multiple people say they would not vote for hillary if nominee, don't recall seeing anyone say they would not vote for obama if the nominee.

10. Are you saying...
That if HRC is not my favorite candidate then I am sexist, and if Obama is not my favorite then I am racist? I feel like I must be reading your post wrong.

Deal with the fact that many people don't like her because of her stances and ideas.

I'd vote for Maxine Waters,so there goes both your crap points.

12. Why all the hate for Jean Schmidt on this site?
I can't believe that so many DU'ers hate women. And what about Condi Rice? The sexism on this site is rampant. :sarcasm:
