In response to an earlier thread: Keith Olbermann never said he was pro-Hillary
In reference to something heard on Countdown last Monday:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x3415837

it is true that it was reported that British PM Brown was said to be "looking forward to working with President Hillary Clinton." However, it is NOT true that Keith himself "came out" for Hillary.

I went back and listened to my recording of Monday's broadcast, in which Keith interviews Richard Wolffe about Shrubbie's meeting with Brown. KO asks Wolffe how the meeting went and whether Brown would be "less predictable" than Tony Blair. Wolffe says he has talked recently to "British officials" and that "what they're really hoping for, the people around Gordon Brown, or they're dreaming of, is Prime Minister Brown working closely with President Hillary Clinton. That's what they're really thinking about."

KO, without comment, then turns the topic to "other political intrigues."

So I don't know where the idea came from that KO came out on that show as a Hillary supporter. As usual, he maintained what has been his neutral stance on the topic.

Please note: I am not posting this as a way of slamming supporters of Obama or any other candidate, but merely to set the record straight.

2. Saw the same interview and you're entirely correct......
KO has been scrupulously uncommitted in the Democratic race.
