Clinton Will Attend Q&A Session with Activists at Yealry Kos
Clinton Will Do Q&A at Bloggers Event

By Katharine Q. Seelye

CHICAGO — Reversal in the Clinton camp.

Word has reached the YearlyKos convention organizers that Senator Hillary Clinton will be attending an individual break-out session with the liberal bloggers and activists here after all.

Senator Clinton was planning to attend the main session all along, with most of the other Democratic presidential candidates. But last night, Kos organizers said that she would not be attending the individual sessions where smaller groups would be able to question
each candidate individually.

The crowd here felt dissed. And the Clinton campaign was annoyed by the timing of the announcement, at the opening night’s dinner, because, they say, they had made it clear for several days that Mrs. Clinton’s schedule would not allow her to stay for the smaller session.

Both sides attribute that kerfuffle to miscommunication. But it prompted a lot of skepticism by some of the bloggers, who saw it as a sign that Mrs. Clinton might not want to face a potential “YouTube moment” with hostile questioners.

3. I think so, miscommunication wasn't going to cut it.
And I think its important she does face those questions.

2. The very fact that there would be "hostile questioners" tells me that people are not looking upon...
Senator Clinton kindly. She's sold out too much to this administration, to right wingers, and to corporations.

5. Dumb move to blow them off in the first place
Smart move to deal with them directly.

Should be interesting.
