Hey GOP Obstructionists
I know that you like to dismiss polls that go in your favor. How do you feel about actual votes for your continued incumbency? Do you think you should be accepting feelers for a lobbyist position? Then again, will you get the same thrill of murder and budgetary squalor there? Will you be safe? Will the terrorists follow you home, too?

Don’t make me laugh when I want to cry about the unwarranted sacrifices you’ve asked of our military troops. How is it possible that representatives of the GOP party cannot support the Webb amendment to allow our remaining troops equal time off from their service in Iraq? How does that hold any “support the troops” water in your state? You have shown more support for your “diaper boy” GOP colleague than you have shown for our troops.

Please know that I don’t live in your state and I can’t cast an actual vote for you. At least, that’s what I believe regardless of how some of your GOP party members regard the registration of their vacation property in other states. However, I do promise to contribute $5 dollars to any progressive challenger to your return to Congress. That includes faux Democrats like Joe Lieberman.

Let me make it clearer. I dislike your policy, but your policies make people hate us. Your policies have bankrupted our Democracy by design. On that note, I encourage you to rubber stamp the * GOP agenda. It’s all the better to remove you from office. The people have spoken and will shout out even louder next time.

So, have you lined up that lobbyist job yet? If not, you better get working on it. BTW, it might not be that good a job after all. Progressive politics don’t go much for that kind of influence on our government. Keep it real.
