IMO, The House should Impeach Gonzales, sort of training wheels for the big one.
Make them show their contempt for the House and plays out all their cards. It also will sharpen the House members and set the process in motion. Will * pull the pardon card? Make them sweat.

This approach would be a win/win no matter the outcome, good politics and good governance.

Otherwise we are stuck with Gonzo's picks for special prosecutors and USAs when attempting to go after Cheney and Bush.
