Nothing really new to report on the Dem side. New polling info, but no state has changed.
Barack's lead in Illinois is a mere 4 points. (BO-37%, HRC-33%, JE-10%) Passable, but he needs to do better if he wants to win it all. With that huge warchest he now has, he damn well better.
Side note, for some reason, Puerto Rico was overlooked. It's been added to the map, but no polling info is available.

The news on the Repug side is that the Ghoul has to be happy. Recent polls indicate he has taken the lead in California, Illinois, and Michigan. Otherwise it is still a bit of a clusterfuck.

1. Looks like a Hillary/Edwards poll to me
I don't see the 2nd tier there.

The election in 15 1/2 months away.

3. I don't understand your point
Why would the "second tier" show up on maps showing the candidates who are leading in various states?

I do agree that polls at this point are essentially meaningless.

5. Reality setting in yet?
Hillary Clinton is going to win this thing, unless she says something racist or criminal. The only real drama is who she will pick as a running mate. I think the other candidates know that.

I am hoping for Wes Clark. But who knows?

8. I am quite relaxed.
Normally I'd be out pressing for a candidate. But this time its really a waste.

9. 6 months to go... but...
At what point does panic (for everyone not named HRC) set in? In three months, it might be too late.

(Though honestly, only BO remains as a serious challenger to HRC. JE has pretty much fallen to middle tier with Richardson.)

7. I also think Hillary Clinton will win, but it's still early.

Hillary is a great campaigner, and I think her lead could grow. Her campaigns for Senator in my state were extremely well-run, and she even won Republican upstate NY in the re-election campaign in 2006.

She'll be the next president of the U.S., IMO
