DFA Training at Yearly Kos next month.

DFA Training at Yearly Kos

As a Democracy for America member, you understand the value of turning words into action. DailyKos is one of the most active communities where Netroots and Grassroots come together day after day, week after week to frame our message, speak our minds, and inspire change…on-line.

The YearlyKos Convention is the annual convention that brings the entire community together off-line for an incredible four days of fun, networking and training.(read more).

The DFA community is playing a leading role:

DFA Founder Governor Howard Dean and DFA Chair Jim Dean will both be there as well as presidential candidates, progressive celebrities, and a who’s who of the blogosphere.

The DFA Training Academy will conduct free workshops to take your campaign training and organizing skills to the next level.
DFA field staff will lead a special DFA Member Caucus too! We’ll share successes, strengthen our network, plan for the future, make new friends and reunite with old ones – all at the same time.

1. Are you going to YK?
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 01:22 AM by DFW
I wanted to, but no way I can juggle my work/personal schedule to fit it in.
The chance to meet all those people and hear them speak (Howard is worth the trip
alone) and make contacts has to be worth ten times the price of the trip. Plus,
this year, The Freedom Toast is putting on a live show at YK, and there will
probably be some other similar entertainment as well.

If you go, detailed reports, please!!

2. I would love to go, but we can't because of family stuff going on.
I will get some reports though and post them. We were going to the Tampa training, and doggone it everytime it is near enough something comes up.
