Inspirations led cynical voters to donate to Barack Obama's campaign
Good article on how Obama is attracting people who have not been involved in the political process for years or for the first time. It talks about his grassroots support and the donations of small contributors.
I also like the article because of the continuing Obama bashing and ongoing anti Obama posts here. I thought it nice to post something positive.

Angela who donated $100 wrote, "I was reading other people's stories of why they felt inspired, and I was crying. My husband came home and I told him I'd been crying for the last half hour. When you read other people's stories, people saying 'I'm a single mother,' 'I'm a retired army officer,' when you see all the different types of people represented, that gives me so much hope. It's not just people like me; it's all different kinds of people that identify and connect with Barack and his campaign. People whose stories we'd never know. But now we can know and see that we really are all in this together," she wrote

n communicating with most supporters of Obama last night at the Howard University, they pointed out that they are not worried by the polls, which have Hillary Clinton with a commanding lead. Their reason: Those that are polled are regular Democratic voters who throughout the past 15 years, have not known any other person than the Clintons.
They buttressed their points by making known that most of the people polled are those with land-line phones, of which, the new generation of voters does not really have land-lines phones. They maintained that they are in for a surprise in turning the page so that they shall also have a share in the American dream.

According to one political pundit who does not want his name be known because of his involvement in the Clinton's campaign, he remarks that a different generation and technology may probably be the deciders in this year election. Echoing out the sentiment that what he called "The Iphone crowd" is paying greater attention to this election. He reechoed the events of the 60s when the now baby boomers revoked against the hatred and segregation of the 1960s by the elites.

1. GO BAMA !!
Did you notice how intently Harry Belafonte was listening to him each time it was his turn to answer a question at the debate? Great debate by the way. Tavis did a superb job. Others need to emulate him in future debates!!

2. Great article.
Obama has made me feel HOPE again -- a delicious sense of expanding vision and possibilities, rather than more of the oppressive despair of being trapped that I've felt for the past 6-1/2 years.

GObama!
