1. HAHA??
If Richardson hits $7M and Edwards $9M, honestly, I wouldn't be laughing if I were you. That one-man second tier is growing closer and closer to being two.

2. The bigger story is that Richardson surpassed his first quarter total, and Edwards
fell far short of his first quarter.

5. Richardson seems to have pulled defeat from the jaws of victory
He will raise a solid amount of money, certainly enough to compete. Unfortunately, by setting high expectations, instead of downplaying their fund-raising as is normal, they set themselves up for a round of negative press. Instead of the stories being "Obama raises $30 million, HRC close at $26 million, Edwards and Richardson competitive" the stories will be "Richardson a disappointing 4th."

6. It isn't funny.
We should wish that all of the Democratic candidates raise a comfortable amount in order to compete. Whether you support him or not. Let's encourage voter choice and candidate dialog by making sure all 8 candidates have podiums(cash) to stand on. God, I am preachy tonight. :silly:

Richardson did well with the $6 million he raised last time and he will raise more this time. I think a four-way race would be healthy for us.
